There are also some more revelations about the dark threat of unknown abusers in the background, and together with the honest and real tone of the story, this makes for an exciting read. That doesn’t make him less of a Dom though but it was a nice change that I found really iteresting.

Different form the first two books, the Dom in this story is still at the beginning of his training, and not half as self-confident or experienced as Leo and Thomas in book one and two. It is kind of like a permanent OZ over the rainbow story with a gay theme.This third book in the 'Collars and Cuffs' series continues the tradition of a Dom not quite sure he is (or wants to be) attracted to the sub in need he meets. I think the redeeming quality is Scott found a life in Manchester, England. That kind of added authenticity to the narration. Would you listen to another book narrated by Nick J. You got to deal with life should you outlive your partner. In real life that happens to everyone gay or straight.

I don't like the presumption that Scott just thought of himself as a mindless slave. All the other necessary things that allow people to live. I am talking housekeeping getting an education making an income. And that means more than just what happens behind closed doors. I think the homosexual relationship could be upgraded to one of mutual service. I don't like the way the main character Scott thought of himself as just a mindless pet. I think the person who is insecure about his own sexuality might enjoy it more. This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more? Overall 4 stars for story & performance - (Audiobook Reviewed by Alpha Book Club) It's great to keep seeing previous couples such as "Alex & Leo" & "Thomas & Peter" - the narrator is different in this book but still does a good job. Like other books in this series the men have some emotional damage but they are still lovable and the story will make you laugh and cry. Their relationship continues to grow from that day.but Ben is looking for a submissive and Scott is not sure what he wants except for someone to keep him, however he and Ben come to an agreement after Leo gets involved to make Ben see he doesn't want Scott going to another Dom. Scott, is not sure if he is hallucinating or suffering severe jet-lag but he had to be imagining what he is seeing at this "Club" Ben had brought him to.

To be with "Jeff" a man he had fallen for via Internet - arriving at his destination, there was no Jeff. This book follows Scott & Ben- Scott, an 18 year old young man who flew to the U.K.
